Kassin McQuean was a Cerean who was employed in the Galactic Republic as a lawyer. She often worked in treason cases. On such case was the trial of Jedi Padawan Nioman Dokoora, who had attacked Republic forces and killed five officers, in which she worked as his attorney. As it turned out, she and Nioman were unable to cooperate but he was nonetheless saved from imprisonment when the Jedi Council intervened and presented new evidence to the court.
